Shoes with shoelaces and shoes with Velcro or zip fasteners are two different types of footwear that serve the same purpose: to protect and support the feet. While both types of shoes can be comfortable, there are certain advantages to shoes fitted with shoelaces when it comes to comfort and foot health.

Shoelaces may seem like a small and inconsequential detail in the grand scheme of things, but they play a much bigger role in the comfort and overall quality of a shoe than one might think
